I had a lovely stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado with its excellent location right across from the Prado Museum, making it easy to explore the city's art scene. The modern and comfortable surroundings were complemented by the friendly staff who provided great service. However, I did find the bathroom setup lacking, with no personal space for toiletries, which was a bit inconvenient.

Rooms
7.0
My room was modern and quiet, ideal for a restful night's sleep, but the bathroom arrangement was not very practical. I was also faced with some poorly maintained pillows, which detracted from the overall comfort.
Service

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations or requests (shoutout to Mohammed from the front desk for his help!). This really enhanced my experience.

The hotel's prime location in the arts district was perfect for visiting nearby attractions, and I appreciated the easy access to numerous restaurants and bars. I could enjoy the vibrant nightlife just steps from my room.
Dining

While I enjoyed the variety of dining options nearby, I found room service offerings to be limited. However, stepping outside led me to good culinary experiences.

The hotel offered numerous services like housekeeping and laundry, but the pool was under maintenance during my stay, which was disappointing as I was looking forward to using it to relax after exploring the city.

6.2/10

My stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Madrid Prado was a blend of positives and some disappointments. The location was fantastic, right near cultural attractions like the Prado Museum, making sightseeing easy. However, the room I was assigned was much smaller than expected, and I faced issues with housekeeping not cleaning it on time. Overall, though the negatives stood out, the great location and helpful staff made the experience worthwhile.

Rooms
6.0
I found my room to be far smaller than described, with only about 12-15 m^2 instead of the anticipated 24 m^2. It felt cramped, and the room design left something to be desired, especially with dark walls. The bathroom had issues with drainage, too. However, the bed was comfortable, which was a plus.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing support for my room requests and ensuring that my experience was as pleasant as possible. Their willingness to assist made a significant difference during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was prime, just a stone's throw from the Prado Museum and within walking distance of the main city center. Easy access to cafes, parks, and transportation made it incredibly convenient for exploring Madrid.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a variety of quality options, which I genuinely enjoyed. There weren't many choices for evening meals, mostly pasta and pizza, though.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had solid facilities like room service and reliable Wi-Fi, which were important for my stay. However, the room cleaning was inconsistent, requiring follow-up with reception.

I had a nice stay at Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado, which boasts a fantastic location near the Prado Museum and Retiro Park. The room I stayed in was well-equipped, featuring an Italian shower and a Nespresso machine, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. However, I was disappointed with the additional charge for the spa access, which seemed a bit excessive. Overall, it was a good visit, with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast.

Rooms

My room was cozy, equipped with modern amenities like a coffee maker and an Italian shower. However, I did note that in one instance, the closet door was slightly obstructed, making it difficult to use the drawers fully.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and offered good assistance, but my experience with the front desk was mixed during a previous stay - they seemed less helpful, particularly regarding heating issues in the room.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is a real highlight. It's centrally located, close to major art institutions and just a short walk to the nightlife in the Santa Ana district. I loved the easy access to so many attractions.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet offering a good mix of hot and cold items. Also, the option to order from the room menu while sitting outside was a lovely touch, although the terrace was often crowded.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel has a decent range of facilities including a unique spa, but the charge for the small indoor pool was unexpected. something I hoped would be complimentary for guests. Overall, the amenities were good but could be improved.

However, I encountered some issues with the room's temperature control, which made nighttime uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel is well-situated and has a welcoming atmosphere, but maintenance could be improved.
